People are little more stylish in Los Angeles doing the month of October, it's the time of year when some in the fashion industry come out seeking new & upcoming fashion designers. It's a time for the industy to see what could be in stores for the next season.  We have had the pleasure to cover LA Fashion Week for several seasons and will be covering it again this season. Our fashion blog Fashion in the 805, will have several posts and images from some of the hottest runway shows of the season. LA Fashion Week will run for several weeks in October. This past July , Meadowlark Service League held it's 26th Annual Wine and Food Festival on the lawns of the historic Camarillo Ranch House.

Samples of delicious fine wines and gourmet food were served from a wide variety of participating wineries and restaurants. An afternoon enjoyed featuring live entertainment with boutique shopping, a silent auction and an opportunity drawing.

On September 28, an ensemble of dancers and musicians arrive from Spain to bring the drama and glamour of Flamenco dance to Santa Barbara on The Granada Theatre stage.

 While many exhibitions usually represent a certain artistic school, a specific era, or a single artist, Degas to Chagall transcends categories, showing comparisons between artists and artistic movements not usually exhibited together.
